My husband and I really enjoyed this class. We enjoyed the mix of learning about afternoon tea and actually making the scones along with Clementine. They were super delicious! (I would recommend measuring out the ingredients before class begins so you can more closely pay attention to what Clementine is actually teaching during the class.). All in all, this was a fun activity for a Saturday afternoon.
Thoroughly enjoyed the advice, recommendations and history offered. The cooking tips were helpful and the focus on simple, delicious food was unmistakable. Worth every moment!
Clementine was so informative and entertaining.
She demonstrated and took great care to explain her process and answer all questions.
Clementine Haxby was an excellent teacher for this seminar. She explained pertinent history and facts in an engaging manner. Her cooking demonstrations and discussions were likewise engayand helpful. The one BIG thing that I found missing was a discussion of tea sandwiches along with demonstrations of them and recipes or suggestions for variations. These are my favorite selections in Afternoon Teas. She did mention that she might need a separate seminar to discuss them but I think that mention of some common ones such as cucumber, egg or others could have been added to this seminar. Otherwise, this was a very entertaining and informative seminar given by an excellent presenter.
A very fun and informative class. I can’t wait to try the recipes.
