Content in Context Conversations, with one exception, has been absolutely great. Presentations have been well organized and presented. Experts have been knowledgeable and passionate. But ...
Sound quality has, in too many Conversations that I have done, been mediocre or worse. My wife and I have participated in three Conversations led by Alessandra Becucci. In one, sound quality was great. In second, it was awful. We did not understand half what she said. This last one was somewhere in between.
If sound problems happen again, I will expect Context to refund my fee. It is frustrating not to be able to get everything that is being said, and that has happened too frequently.
You need to pre-test all technical details. My observation is that microphone attached to headphones and wrapping around presenter's cheek works. Microphone attached to earbuds and dangling near presenter's neck does not work consistently, and sound quality fades in and out. This was microphone type used by Alessandra in this presentation. Correspondingly, sound went in and out, depending on how she was moving and, also, how forceful her voice was. Computer microphone does not work at all.
