This conversation explores various treasures found in the thriving Italian city of Milan, the capital of fashion and design but also art and music. We will admire mesmerizing artistic masterpieces da Vinci's Last Supper and important artworks of Raphael and Michelangelo as well as newer districts such as Bosco Verticale, Gae Aulenti Square, and City Life. We'll move on to discuss recreational districts including the picturesque Brera district with its meandering narrow streets and the sparkling Navigli area along the canals of the southern district of Porta Genova.

Led by an expert on art history, Laura Benitii, this interactive seminar will explore the culture of Milan beyond fashion and design. Designed to inform curiosity as well as future travels, participants will come away with a better understanding of the beautiful art and architecture found in Milan.

Laura was born in Turin, where she studied history of art, but moved to Milan in 2002. Since her graduation, she has accumulated a long experience as an art consultant and registrar in a few museums in Turin, as well as expertise as a local Milan guide. She loves to be both an experienced and friendly local ambassador of Milan and Como area for her travelers.
